Culture whithout borders

The aim of our project entitled Culture Without Borders, funded by the IPA Cross-border Co-operation Program is to present the cultural and national diversity of the border region through the use of two novel artistic methods. Our organization uses the Self-portrait, while our partner organization, the Agora Fund from Szeged, the Minorities with camera method to achieve these goals. We have organized two-day long artistic workshop on both sides of the border (Szeged, Deszk, Novo Orahovo, Bački Monoštor, Senta, Deronje), where professional visual artists (Bori Soós, Endre Kiss, Ede Sinkovics, Miklós Soltis) helped the members of the minority groups involved to prepare their messages, the self-portraits. The artworks born out of the joint work will be presented in a bilingual publication and in a media campaign at the end of the year.

Eutropia

The project's aim is to find and support 15 talented people in arts (musicians, dancers, vocalists, media artists) with social disadvantages in Vojvodina, Serbia. After the recruitment, there'll be a 4 day workshop where they'll have the opportunity to work with acknowledged trainer-professionals, according to their interests. This way they can improve their professional skills, use appropriate tools and also create a production together, which they present in an event.

We are here

We are here is a multi-platform cultural project that enables socially and economically marginalised citizens and communities who have little or no access to creative work and cultural production, to work alongside artists and use visual media; digital photography, drawing, painting, writing, mixed media and digital video to produce intimate and revealing self-portraits of their lives - the realities of their day to day living, the challenges, hopes, fears and aspirations.
